TONIGHT! The Lower Providence Moms Run This Town group will be running the New York City Marathon to support charities that benefit children and families. The majority of the group is raising money for Team for Kids, there is also a member who is raising money for the National Down Syndrome Society and First Candle.!
About Team for Kids:
Team for Kids raises money to provide the youth of New York City and around the nation to participate in running and fitness related programs. These programs will help the youth regardless of socioeconomic status to be involved in programs that can help them become healthy-physically and emotionally. The program helps funds local races, curriculum, and other resources necessary for a successful program.
10% of sales at Stable 12 tonight will be donated to the group, so come thirsty and hungry!
